About the role
We want to grow outside the US, starting with Europe and Asia-Pacific. You will work out where we can do that and how, then lead the first steps. The role is based in the US; there is no relocation.
Adult platforms face different rules in every country, from strict age-check laws to outright bans. Knowing where we can and cannot operate comes before any launch, so you will work closely with our legal advisers.
What you will do
- Research and rank markets in Europe and Asia-Pacific by audience size, competition, payments and legal requirements
- Build a market-entry plan for each priority country: what to launch, in what order, and what it costs
- Work with legal advisers to confirm what each country requires, such as age verification, before we promote there
- Find and manage overseas partners: affiliates, agencies, ad networks and creators with local audiences
- Plan localization with the product and marketing teams: language, pricing and payment methods
- Track international signups, creators and revenue by country, and report monthly
- Recommend when a market is ready for a local hire
What we are looking for
- 4+ years in growth, market expansion, business development or international marketing
- Experience launching or growing a consumer product outside the US
- Strong research and analytics skills, and the judgment to turn them into a clear plan
- Comfortable working some early or late hours to overlap with European and Asian time zones
- Comfortable with adult content and discussing it professionally
Nice to have
- A second language used in a target market, such as German, French, Spanish, Japanese or Portuguese
- Experience with online age-verification or content regulation
- Experience at a creator platform, dating app or other adult-adjacent consumer business
