About the role
You will build the SexySelfies events program: which industry trade shows we attend, which events we host, and what each one has to achieve.
You own the plan and the budget, and you lead the Events & Sponsorship Manager.
What you will do
- Set the yearly events plan and the goal for every event
- Own the events budget and negotiate with venues, vendors and production partners
- Lead the Events & Sponsorship Manager and outside vendors
- Represent SexySelfies at industry events and build relationships with organizers
- Work with marketing on promotion before, during and after each event
- Make sure events meet safety, security, age-check and legal requirements
- Report on results: attendance, creators signed, sponsorship revenue and cost
What we are looking for
- 7+ years in event management, including 3+ years leading events or an events team
- A record of delivering events on budget, with contract and vendor negotiation experience
- Able to travel regularly for events
- Comfortable with adult content and adult-industry settings
Nice to have
- Experience with adult-industry or nightlife events
- Existing relationships with trade show organizers and event venues
